  I am not the best person to be talking on this subject but someone needs to. From the Garden of Eden until today there is one theme that is constant. We will not obey God’s commands. God only gave Adam and Eve one, simple command. Don’t eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. That was it. They could do anything else they wanted to. Simple enough. Just one command. Then God gave us 10 commandments. This was way too much for us. We want to believe that we are basically good and to a certain extent many of us are. We mean well and intend to do what we are supposed to. It never works. It is said that the road to Hell is paved with good intentions. This seems to be true. If Christ hadn’t died for us and purchased all the sin in the world then heaven would be empty of human beings.
